Please email us at volunteer@cheetahexperience.com to discuss Arrival and Departure dates. This is to ensure your arrival coincides with our Training and Induction Programme.

Make sure your email address is correct. If it isn't correct in your application form, we can't respond to you.
What happens after I submit my Volunteer Application Form?

Shortly after you submit your form, you will receive an automated email confirming your form submission. If you don't receive this email, it is likely that you entered your email incorrectly and you will need to re-submit your form.

Our Volunteer & Internship Programme Manager (volunteer@cheetahexperience.com) will send you an email to confirm availability of your chosen dates, pricing confirmation and payment details for your deposit. Please add this email address to your contacts, or remember to check your junk mail folder if you haven't received a reply within 48hrs.

Once you have received this confirmation from us and before you pay your deposit, you need to establish that you are able to get flights or transport to/from Cheetah Experience (Bela Bela, South Africa). Information on how to get to Cheetah Experience will be provided to you in our confirmation email. (Note: Volunteers fly in to OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg.

Transport from Johannesburg to Bela Bela will include a train ride to Hatfield station (pay on arrival) where you will be collected by a Cheetah Experience staff member and driven to our farm).

You also need to check that your timeline works if visas or inoculations / immunisations are required.

You will then need to pay a 50% deposit to confirm your placement, with the balance of payment due 30 days prior to your arrival date. This does not apply to the 'Volunteer for a Day' or 'Local Volunteer' programmes.

Once you have booked with us, your dates have been confirmed and you have paid your deposit we will send you all the necessary information to help you prepare for your adventure to Cheetah Experience!
